The story of Khawlah bint Thalabah (RA)...

The Story of Khawlah bint Thalabah (RA): The Woman Allah Heard from the Heavens Khawlah bint Thalabah (RA) wasn’t a warrior on the battlefield nor a leader of armies, but her voice changed the course of divine law, and her plea was heard not just by the Prophet ﷺ, but by Allah Himself. ●Who Was Khawlah bint Thalabah? Khawlah bint Thalabah (RA) was a noble woman of the Ansar, married to Aws ibn al-Samit, the brother of the famous companion Ubadah ibn al-Samit. She was known for her intelligence, strength of character, and deep faith in Allah. Despite living in a society that gave little voice to women, Khawlah (RA) would not remain silent when faced with injustice—and because of her courage, Allah revealed verses in her defence that are recited to this day. ○The Incident of Zihār One day, in the heat of an argument, Khawlah's husband Aws ibn al-Samit angrily said to her: > "You are to me like the back of my mother." In Arab culture at that time, this statement was known...

I peered into Jannah and saw that the majority...

RasoolAllahﷺ farmate hain:
"Maine Jannat mein jhank kar dekha to Jannatiyon mein ziyadati gareebon ki nazar aayi, aur maine Dozakh mein jhank kar dekha to Dozakiyon mein kasrat avraton ki nazar aayi."

Ye hadees humein do aham baatein samjhati hai:

1. Jannat mein Ghareebon ki Aksariyat

Nabi Kareemﷺ ne jab Jannat mein jhank kar dekha to wahan zyadatar ghareeb log the. Iska ye matlab nahi ke sirf ghareeb log Jannat mein jayenge, balki iska maqsad ye hai ke jo log duniya mein tangdasti aur mushkilat ke bawajood Allah ka shukr karte hain, sabr se kaam lete hain, aur apni zindagi deen ke mutabiq guzarte hain, unka ajar Jannat hai. Islam mein ameer hona buri baat nahi, lekin ameer log jab maal ka ghamand karte hain, Allah ki ibadat se door hote hain, ya gareebon ki madad nahi karte, to unke liye musibat hoti hai. Isliye, aksar gareeb log sabr aur shukr ki wajah Se Jannat mein zyada honge.

2. Jahannam mein Auraton ki Kasrat

Is hadees ka ye matlab nahi hai ke sab auratein Jahannam mein jayengi, balki Nabi ne ek aam riwayat ko bayan kiya hai jo us waqt dekhi gayi. Doosri ahadith se maloom hota hai ke auraton mein kuch aise aamal zyada paaye jaate hain jo unke liye khatarnaak ho sakte hain. Maslan:

Shohar ki nashukri (Jise Nabi ne alag se bayan bhi kiya hai)
Zyada shikayat karna
•Ghibat aur chugli
Zeenat aur fashion mein had se zyada mashghool hona
Lekin ye bhi yaad rakha jaye ke bohot si auratein taqwa, ibadat, aur neki ki wajah se Jannat bhi jayengi. Islam ne auraton ko barabar ka maqam diya hai, lekin ye hadees sirf ek tanbeeh hai ke auratein apne aamal ka jaiza lein aur apni aakhirat sudharne ki koshish karein.

Nateejah (Conclusion):
Is hadees ka asal maqasad ye hai ke mard aur aurat dono apni islah karein. Na gareebi koi zaroori cheez hai Jannat ke liye, na sirf auratein hi Jahannam mein jayengi. Balki har shakhs apne aamaal ka zimmedar hai. Jo bhi Allah ki itaat karega, wahi Jannat ka mustahig hoga.

In English
☆Our Beloved Prophet Muhammadﷺ said:
I peered into Jannah and saw that the majority of its inhabitants were poor, and I peered into Jahannam and saw that the majority of its inhabitants were women.

This Hadith teaches us two important lessons:

1. The majority of the poor in Jannah

When the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) looked into Jannah, he saw that the majority of people there were poor. This does not mean that only poor people will enter Jannah, but rather that those who, despite facing poverty and difficulties in life, thank Allah, practice patience, and live according to the teachings of Islam will be rewarded with Jannah.
Being wealthy in Islam is not bad, but if rich people become arrogant about their wealth, turn away from the worship of Allah, or do not help the poor, they will face hardships. Therefore, poor people are likely to be more abundant in Jannah due to their patience and gratitude.

2. The majority of women in Jahannam

This Hadith does not mean that all women will enter Jahannam, but the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) was reporting a general observation made at that time. Other Hadiths indicate that there are some actions more commonly found among women that could lead to dangerous consequences.

For example:

•Ungratefulness towards their husbands (which the Prophet specifically warned against)

•Complaining too much

•Backbiting and gossiping

•Excessive indulgence in beauty and fashion

However, it should also be remembered that many women, due to their piety, worship, and do good deeds, will enter Jannah. Islam has granted women equal status, but this Hadith serves as a reminder for women to examine their actions and work towards improving their hereafter.

Conclusion:
The true purpose of this Hadith is for both men and women to reform themselves. Poverty is not a necessary condition for entering Jannah, and not all women will enter Jahannam. Each individual is responsible for their actions. Whoever obeys Allah will be worthy of Jannah.
