The Story of Khawlah bint Thalabah (RA): The Woman Allah Heard from the Heavens Khawlah bint Thalabah (RA) wasn’t a warrior on the battlefield nor a leader of armies, but her voice changed the course of divine law, and her plea was heard not just by the Prophet ﷺ, but by Allah Himself. ●Who Was Khawlah bint Thalabah? Khawlah bint Thalabah (RA) was a noble woman of the Ansar, married to Aws ibn al-Samit, the brother of the famous companion Ubadah ibn al-Samit. She was known for her intelligence, strength of character, and deep faith in Allah. Despite living in a society that gave little voice to women, Khawlah (RA) would not remain silent when faced with injustice—and because of her courage, Allah revealed verses in her defence that are recited to this day. ○The Incident of Zihār One day, in the heat of an argument, Khawlah's husband Aws ibn al-Samit angrily said to her: > "You are to me like the back of my mother." The fourth month of the Islamic calendar


The fourth month of the Islamic calendar is Rabi ul -Akhir (Thani). In this very month 11th Rabi ul Thani was the birth of the king of Baghdad, Chief of the contented souls, the incomparable, 


Rabi Ul Thani Mubarak- The Month of Master of Saints Ya Ghawth Al Azam Dastagir


He is Al-Hasani wal-Hussaini


The Master of the ‘Awliya, the leader of the men of the unseen, Ya Abdul Qadir al-Jilani,


The knower of secrets, the key to sainthood, 


The one who uttered “my foot is on the neck of every saint” Ya Abdul Qadir al-Jilani,


The helper of the needy Ya Abdul Qadir al-Jilani, the one whose gaze transformed robbers to saints Ya Abdul Qadir al-Jilani,


You visit your lovers in dreams,

Some are able to gaze at your face whilst others can not take a single glance, your voice sends your lovers into a trance, your autonomy is Baghdad, from there the Saints seek solace.”Hadrat Ghawth al-A'zam, Sayyiduna Shaykh Muhiyuddin, Abd'al-Qadir al-Jilani, al-Hassani w'al-Hussaini, Bhagdadi Rahmatulla Alayhi. 


In this month we should make arrangements to offer Niyaaz and Fateha of the Saint of Baghdad. Charity is also given in the name of Pious Saints of Islam as a means of conveying reward to these blessed from which not only the poor benefit a great deal but the souls of the believers also obtain peace and contentment.


May Allah Almighty grant us all the spiritual blessings of Ghawth al-A'zam Sayyiduna Shaykh 'Abdul Qadir al-Jilani (Radhy Allahu Ta'ala 'Anhu). Ameen.
